Hammer union seals are essential sealing components used in oilfield applications to
ensure reliable and leak-proof connections between flexible hoses,
flow lines, and high-pressure pipes. These seals are designed to
provide a tight and durable seal within hammer union assemblies,
preventing fluid leakage even under extreme pressure and
temperature. Each hammer union typically includes a threaded end, a
nut end, and a hammer nut, which compresses the elastomeric seal to
form a secure connection. Our hammer union seals feature a special
lipped design to prevent displacement during installation.
Available models include Fig 206, Fig 602, Fig 1002, Fig 1004, Fig
1502, and Fig 2002, suitable for both standard and sour gas
service. We supply seals from 1" to 7" sizes, manufactured in
high-grade Nitrile (NBR), Hydrogenated Nitrile (HNBR), and
Fluoroelastomer (FKM) materials. To enhance performance under
high-pressure applications, optional brass or stainless steel
anti-extrusion rings are available for improved stability and wear
resistance, ensuring a long service life in demanding drilling
environments.
