Product Description
Hammer union seals are essential components utilized in the
connections of flexible hoses or pipes within the oil drilling
industry. These seals ensure a fluid-tight connection within the
union hardware, which is critical for maintaining system integrity
and preventing leaks.
Hammer unions are composed of three main parts: a threaded end, a
nut end, and a hammer nut. When the hammer nut is tightened, it
compresses the assembly, creating a secure seal with the aid of an
elastomeric seal. The seal is designed with a lip to prevent it
from dislodging when the union is inverted.
Common types of Hammer Unions include:
Threaded Hammer Unions: Available in sizes ranging from 40, 50, and 602 to 1502.
Butt Weld Hammer Unions: Typically available in sizes 602, 1502, and 2202.
Threaded & Butt Weld Hammer Unions: Available in sizes from 100 to 400.

Union seal with brass ring:The use of brass rings can increase the tightness of the seal,
prevent leakage, and maintain stable performance in long-term use,
extending the service life. In addition, the corrosion resistance
of brass can also ensure that the sealing effect is maintained in
various environments, especially in weak acids, weak alkalis and
salt water.
Union seal with stainless steel ring:It has high corrosion resistance and can resist corrosion from weak
corrosive media such as air, steam, water, and chemical substances
such as acid, alkali, and salt. The strength and corrosion
resistance of stainless steel vary with the alloy elements, and it
has high heat resistance and wear resistance.
Rubber union seal:Rubber seals have good elasticity and compression memory, and can
adapt to a wide range of temperatures, from extremely low
temperatures to high temperatures. Their manufacturing cost is
relatively low, making them suitable for large-scale production and
application. In low-pressure, low-temperature and normal
temperature environments, rubber seals usually have better sealing
effects than metal seals.
